You keep the firm's diary, its correspondence and the originals it holds for clients. These are the screens you will live in.
- 01Sign in and turn on two step sign inSign in at your firm's own address, set a strong password, and protect the account with an authenticator app or an emailed code.
- 02Find anything with searchOne search box across matters, parties, documents and their text, notes, filed mail and originals, showing only what you may see.
- 03Add a party and keep the register cleanAdd a person or an organisation once, see possible duplicates before saving, and merge two records that turn out to be the same.
- 04The calendar and court diaryPut hearings, meetings and internal events in the diary, repeat them, and read the court diary grouped by court and time.
- 05Upload documents and keep their versionsFile documents on a matter, understand the scan that runs before anyone can open them, and work with versions and locks.
- 06File email to a matterUse a matter's own address so mail and attachments arrive scanned and wait for a fee earner to confirm them onto the file, and send from the matter.
- 07The originals registerRecord every deed, will, certificate and passport the firm holds, where it is kept, who has it out, and every movement since it arrived.
- 08Request an electronic signatureSend one version of a document to be signed in order, follow each signatory, and receive the signed version and its certificate on the matter.
- 09Work with tasksCreate tasks on a matter or for the firm, work their checklists, mention colleagues in comments, and see your list and the team's.
