Money routes
Which of the firm's accounts receives each office's money, fund by fund and currency by currency, and the firm's own route where an office has none.
What a route decides
A bill prints the account the client pays into. The account is taken from the money routes when the bill is issued, and the bill keeps it. A route names, for one office, one fund and one currency, the live account that receives that money. The firm's own route, with no office, is used for an office that has none of its own.
Setting a route
Settings, Money routes lists every route, the firm's first: the office or the firm, the fund, the currency, the account, and who changed it and when. The list is short, one row for each office, fund and currency, so it is read whole.
- Choose Set a route.
- Choose the office, or The firm, the fund and the currency.
- Choose the account: only live accounts of that fund and currency are offered.
- Save. A route that stood for the same office, fund and currency is replaced.
Change on a row sets another account for the same route. Remove takes an office's route away, so its money goes to the firm's route again; the firm's own route is never removed.
