Currencies and exchange rates
The currencies the firm works in, and the rate for each day, always read for the date of the document rather than today.
Currencies
The Ghana cedi is the base currency. Add any other currency a matter may be kept in under Settings, Currencies, with its code, name, symbol and number of decimal places.
Rates by day
Under Exchange rates, enter the rate for each day the firm uses, with its source. A scheduled fetch may fill rates in, but a fetched rate is not used until someone confirms it.
Every document is priced at the rate for its own date. A disbursement paid on 3 March uses the rate for 3 March, whenever it is entered, so a figure never changes because it was typed in late.
