Conveyancing settings
Keep the rules a conveyancing practice works to, which kinds of matter are conveyancing and what each requires, the stamp duty and disbursement rates, the client milestones and the firm's conveyancing rules.
Every rule the law or the firm decides is kept under Settings, Conveyancing, with its default and where it comes from. Nothing is fixed in the system.
Requirements
Make a kind of matter a conveyancing one and say its transaction (a sale, a lease, a mortgage), the searches and the consents Execution waits on. A kind's transaction is fixed once a transaction is open on it.
Stamp duty rates
The estimator reads the rate in force on the day for the instrument and, where the firm keeps one, the land's use: a percentage of the value, a fixed sum or bands, with a minimum (Stamp Duty Act, 2005 (Act 689)). The rates the system ships are examples, never the law; a rate an estimate has read keeps its figures, so a change is a new rate from a later day.

Disbursement rates
What a registration, search, oath, filing, survey or consent fee usually costs, for the quote: a fixed amount or a percentage of the consideration with a minimum, for every kind of transaction or the kinds named, once a property where it is.
Client milestones
For each kind of matter, the milestones its client is told of, in order, each reached when the matter enters a stage or a key date happens.
Conveyancing rules
The firm's rules with their defaults and citations: acting for both sides, the reply days for requisitions, the registration follow-up days, source of funds before Execution, the article 266 lease limit for non-citizens, the late stamping penalty, the value deviation and rapid resale flags, the spouse's consent, and whether milestones prepare client updates.
