Your preferences
Set how the console looks, how its menus open, where you land, the clock you read times on, how lists open and your own diary week.
Your preferences are your own. They are kept on your account, so they follow you to every computer and phone you sign in on, and nobody else's console changes when you change yours. Open your name at the top of the screen or at the foot of the menu, then Preferences.

Each preference is one row: its name and what it does, with a dropdown beside it (under it on a phone). A choice applies the moment you pick it and is saved behind it. If it cannot be saved, it goes back and a message says why.
Appearance
- Theme: light, dark, or as your device is set. The sun and moon button at the top of the screen changes the same preference.
- Text size: small, standard, large or larger. Everything in the console grows or shrinks with it, controls and tables included.
- Density: comfortable, or compact for more rows on screen. On a phone the controls keep their size, so they stay easy to press.
- Motion: as your device is set, reduced (changes land at once), or full.
Navigation
- Sidebar groups and Settings menu groups: every group open, as you left them (kept on your account), or only where you are (the group holding the page). A group you fold by hand stays folded until you leave.
- Sidebar starts: open with names, or folded to its icons, each time you sign in.
- Start page: where you land after signing in: the dashboard, Matters, Calendar, Time or Tasks. If you may not open the one you chose, you land on the dashboard.
Time and language
Your time zone, the language dates and numbers follow, and the clock: as your language reads it, the 24 hour clock (14:30) or the 12 hour clock (2:30 pm). English (Ghana) and English (US) read the 12 hour clock; English (UK) reads the 24 hour clock.
Lists
- Rows per page: 20, 50 or 100 rows on a register's page. The pager under a register still changes it for that visit.
- Registers open on: everything you may see, your team's, or yours. It sets where the Whose filter starts on Matters and Enquiries, and the scope on Deadlines. Matters and Enquiries have no team filter, so "My team's" opens them on everything.
Diary
Your own first day of the week and the length of a new diary entry, where they differ from the firm's. Leave them on The firm's to follow whatever the firm sets.
Reset remembered layouts
The console remembers how you left some screens in this browser: the columns of each register, the Mail and Documents folder rails, the documents folder view, list or board, and the notification groups you opened. Reset forgets all of these, and the menu groups your account keeps open, after you confirm.
