Leave, practising licences and CPD
Leave that is decided by somebody else and shows what the absence puts at risk, the firm's practising licences by year, and CPD against the requirement.
Leave
- A person asks for leave from their own Leave page, naming the kind, the dates, who covers for them and a handover note.
- Somebody else decides it. Nobody approves their own leave.
- Before deciding, the approver sees what the absence costs: the deadlines the person holds and the hearings they are expected at inside the window.
Approved leave marks the person away. Their deadlines inside the window are flagged and the responsible partner is told. The system never moves anyone's work by itself; the cover is a person the firm names.

Practising licences
Under Settings, Compliance, keep each lawyer's enrolment number, call date and licence for the current year, with the certificate scan. The system reminds 60 and 30 days before expiry, and a firm-wide report shows everyone's standing.
CPD
Record each lawyer's CPD activity, with provider, date, hours or points and evidence, against the yearly requirement the firm sets. The shortfall report shows who is behind.
Registrations
Keep the firm's own registrations, such as with the Data Protection Commission, with their renewal dates; the system reminds before each falls due.
