The emergency override
For the rare moment someone must act beyond their permissions, the override opens access for four hours, with a reason, a second sign in and a notice.
When it is for
A partner is in hospital and a filing is due today on a matter nobody else can open. The emergency override exists for that: a way to act at once, with the firm told and the use kept on the record.
By default only the managing partner holds it.
How it works
- Choose Emergency override and type the reason.
- Confirm your identity again with your password and your second step.
- Access opens for four hours and then closes by itself.
- The firm administrator is told immediately.
The report
Every use is listed for good under Settings, Overrides, with who used it, when, why and for how long.
